Day 1 : Bangkok Arrival
Arrive Bangkok, meet & transfer to hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 2 : Bangkok City Sightseeing (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Golden Buddha Temple, drive through china town and the main city area, passing monuments and national landmarks to visit the Grand Palace and the adjacent Temple of the Emerald Buddha. After a buffet lunch at a riverside restaurant, visit the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and shop for local souvenirs. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3 : Bangkok, Damnearn Saduak and Kanchanaburi / (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. Early morning depart Bangkok to visit the rural floating market at Damnearn Saduak, stopping en route to visit the salt farm and the sugar palm plantation. Continue to Kanchanaburi, visit the Allied Cemetery, the War Museum and the famous River Kwai Bridge. After lunch, visit the Tiger Temple, a sanctuary for conservations of Tigers, then transfer to your resort hotel. Overnight in Kanchanaburi.
Day 4 : Kanchanaburi, Ayuthaya (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning exploration of the Erawan National Park, then drive via Supanburi to Ayuthaya. After lunch, we tour the ancient ruins surrounding this old capital of Siam that was besieged by the invading Burmese army in 1767. Check-in hotel. Overnight at Ayuthaya.
Day 5 : Ayuthaya, Lopburi, Phitsanuloke and Sukhothai (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. Leaving Ayuthaya, we drive further north for Lopburi, the old Khmer outpost to visit the sacred “Prang Sam Yod”, the shrine inhabited by hundreds of monkeys at San Prakarn and Narai Rajanives Palace/Museum. Continue our journey to Phitsanuloke. After lunch, visit Phra Buddha Jinaraj Temple, then onward to Sukhothai, the 13th century capital of Thailand. Overnight at Sukhothai.
Day 6 : Sukhothai, Lampang, Hmong Village (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. We visit the magnificent complex of ruins, then continue north for Lampang where we visit the famous Wat Lampang Luang, a Burmese style temple. We also ride on horse-drawn taxis around town before bypassing Chiang Mai for the mountain village resort just 18 km from the center of Chiang Mai. Overnight at Hmong Hill Tribe Lodge.
Day 7 : Hmong Village, Chiang Rai (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. Today, we visit the Orchid Farm, ride on the backs of elephants along the jungle trail, do bamboo rafting down the Mae Taeng River. After lunch, we visit the famous giraffe-neck “Padong” Karen hill tribe of Burmese origin, then drive along mountain roads to Chiang Rai, the northernmost province of Thailand. Overnight at Chiang Rai.
Day 8 : Chiang Rai / Golden Triangle, Chiang Mai (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. We go uphill to visit the large Akha and Yao hill tribe settlements nearby Mae Chan, explore the Golden Triangle junction, visit the Lanna kingdom at Chiang Saen and do some interest shopping for Burmese and Chinese products at the border town of Mae Sai before proceeding our drive to Chiang Mai. Lunch provided en route. Overnight at Chiang Mai.
Day 9 : Chiang Mai Sightseeing (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to the sacred Doi Suthep Mountain Temple by cable car and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the entire countryside from atop. After lunch, we shop for local souvenirs at Sankampaeng and Borsang on the outskirt of the city – see silk & cotton weaving, lacquer ware, silver ware, wood carving, hand-painted umbrellas, etc. Overnight at Chiang Mai.
Day 10 : Chiang Mai, fly to Bangkok (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Chiang Mai airport, fly from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. Transfer on arrival to your hotel, rest of the day free at leisure. Tonight, it’s dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya Princess. Enjoy international buffet with live entertainment on board. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 11 : Bangkok Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel. At leisure till transfer time to Bangkok for departure… END OF SERVICE.
POSSIBLE EXTENSION : You may extend your trip to PHUKET or KOH SAMUI by flying direct from Chiang Mai or connect the flight from Bangkok to Trad, then by bus/ferryboat onward to KOH CHANG.
