Day 1 : Bangkok
Arrive Bangkok airport, meet & transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. O/N in Bangkok.
Day 2 : Bangkok (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Golden Buddha Temple (WatTraimitr), drive through china town and the main city area to visit the Grand Palace and the adjacent Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). Lunch at a riverside restaurant. Continue the visit to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Po) and the Marble Temple (Wat Benjamabophit). O/N in Bangkok.
Day 3 : Bangkok – Cruise to Bang-Pa-In and Ayuthaya (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. Boarding the “Pearl of Siam”, we cruise up the Chao Phraya River en route to Bang-Pa-In to disembark after a buffet lunch on board the River Cruiser. Visit the lovely Summer Palace of old Kings, set in a serene compound with magnificent buildings of Thai, Chinese, Victorian and Italian Renaissance architecture. A short drive north takes us to ancient Ayuthaya where we explore the ancient ruins and historical park surrounding the once glorious capital of the Siamese kingdom. O/N at Ayuthaya.
Day 4 : Ayuthaya – Supanburi – Kanchanaburi (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. Leaving Ayuthaya, we drive via Suphanburi for Kanchanaburi to catch a short ride on the “Death Railway” built by the allied prisoners of war during the brief Japanese occupation of Thailand. After getting off the train at Nam Tok Station, we have lunch at a local restaurant, then visit the Allied Cemetery, the War Museum and the famous River Kwai Bridge. O/N at River Kwai Village / Kanchanaburi.
Day 5 : Kanchanaburi – The Rose Garden / Nakorn Pathom (B+L)
Breakfast at hotel. We ride on elephants along the jungle trail, float down the river on bamboo raft, then depart Kanchanaburi for Nakorn Pathom. Check-in hotel at the Rose Garden. After a sumptuous buffet lunch, it’s admission to the Thai village show : see Buddhist ordination and Thai wedding ceremonies, sword fighting, cock fighting, Thai boxing, elephants at work, Thai classical and folkloristic dances, etc… Rest of the afternoon to relax and explore the delightful tropical flower garden. O/N at Nakorn Pathom.
Day 6 : Nakorn Pathom – Damnearn Saduak – Hua Hin (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Damnearn Saduak to visit and explore the rural floating market before heading south for the seaside resort at Hua Hin, a popular weekend retreat for the local Thais coming from Bangkok. O/N in Hua Hin.
Day 7 : Hua Hin – Chumporn, by Catamaran to Koh Tao(B)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart Hua Hin on a comfortable drive along rubber and coconut plantations to Chumporn to board the Hi-speed Catamaran for Koh Tao and on arrival, transfer to your hotel for 2 night accommodation with breakfasts. Koh Tao is a snorkeling paradise with abundant coral reefs, lovely beaches with crystal clear seas. O/Ns at Koh Tao.
Day 9 : Koh Tao, by Catamaran to Koh Samui (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart by Hi-speed Catamaran for Koh Samui. On arrival, transfer to hotel. 3 night accommodation with breakfasts included. Koh Samui is reputed for her marvelous beaches, excellent sea food and charming natives. You have ample time to savor one of Thailand’s most sought after beach resort getaway in this part of the world. O/Ns at Koh Samui.
Day 12 : Koh Samui – Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Free until transfer time to Samui airport to board your onward flight. END OF SERVICE
